Exciting preservation work is taking place in the Stowe House!
The Stowe Center remains OPEN FOR TOURS while preservation work is completed.
The 1873 Visitor Center and 1884 Katharine Seymour Day House will host the tour experience through completion of work in spring 2017. Stowe Center staff will offer visitors a behind-the-scenes look inside the Stowe House as construction allows.

The Family Tour. Great for kids 5-12 with an accompanying adult. Offered year round on Saturdays & Sundays at 1:30 PM. In July and August, also offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:30 PM. Always available by appointment.

The Preservation Tour
Behind-the-scenes tour of the $3.3 million preservation project in the Harriet Beecher Stowe House: project planning, packing & moving historic collections, and new discoveries about Stowe's interiors.
Offered select Saturdays at 3 PM or by group reservation. 2016-2017 scheduled dates: September 10, October 8, November 12, December 10 and January 14. $12/person.

The Stowe Center is a Blue Star Museum
